My Mind's Eye Blog Challenge

I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE My Mind's Eye products! I recently discovered their blog and saw a design challenge I decided to participate in (my VERY FIRST EVER!). Did I mention how much I LOVE My Mind's Eye? The theme is "Anything Goes" and MME provided this layout:

I chose to use one of my favorite pictures from Garrett's one-year photo shoot.  Here is my layout design:

Here is a close-up of the flowers.  I used the Mother's Day Cricut cartridge to cut each layer of the flowers. and MME brads for the centers.

Hello!  This is so exciting!  I honestly didn't want to start blogging because I knew it would become another activity to add to my already busy life!  However, my LOVE of My Mind's Eye products inspired me to participate in their August blog challenge which required me to create my own blog where I can post my creations.  I have decided to make this a place where I can share the things I adore; namely, my family and my scrapbooking/paper crafting obsession. 

I am so excited to enter the My Mind's Eye Challenge!  My layout is almost done so I suspect I will spend the bulk of my time today trying to figure out this blogging thing!
